Troubleshooting .it domain registration
The following can help resolve common issues:
Registration error messages
If you receive any of the following error messages after submitting the form, please verify that the entered data is correct:
Registrant: invalid reg code – Double-check the Social Security Number (fiscal code).
Voice Syntax – Verify that the phone number is correct and properly formatted.
Email not received
If you don’t receive the verification email within a few hours of submitting the registration, check your spam or promotions folders. If the email isn’t found, it’s recommended to retry the registration using a different email address, as outlined in the next section.
Domain registration failed
If a registration application is still in the system, the Retry button will not be available, even if the registration failed. To submit a new registration, contact us to remove the failed application first.
Once the previous application is removed, click the Edit button to change the details; ensure they are correct. This will reset the registration as a new request, and the registry will send a new verification email to the updated address.
