The Cloudflare integration on hPanel allows you to manage Cloudflare’s main settings directly, without the need of logging in to Cloudflare’s dashboard. Plus, any changes to DNS records on hPanel will be automatically added to the domain’s DNS zone in Cloudflare!
Read on to find out how you can activate or deactivate Cloudflare at Hostinger.
How to set up Cloudflare for hPanel plans?
Choose the domain for which you would like to install Cloudflare (it should be already added to the hosting plan), the email address (you will use it for logging in to your Cloudflare Dashboard), and click on Install Cloudflare:
After receiving a message about the successful installation, click on Manage. If your domain is not registered at Hostinger, you will be asked to point your domain to Cloudflare.
How to deactivate Cloudflare?
If you would like to temporarily deactivate Cloudflare, just open Hosting → Manage → Cloudflare and click on Disable:
As an alternative, you can also disable Cloudflare from your Cloudflare Dashboard. Just log in to it, and click on the domain in question. Then open Overview, scroll down to Advanced Actions, and choose Pause Cloudflare on Site:
Pausing Cloudflare stops traffic from passing through the Cloudflare network, making your origin server IP address visible
Also, Cloudflare’s security and protection features become disabled
As an alternative to disabling Cloudflare, you can enable Development Mode to bypass caching while preserving security and protection
If you would like to permanently disable Cloudflare, just choose Remove Site from Cloudflare. Keep in mind that you need to point your domain to your hosting after this.
