How to Fix the “403 Forbidden” Error in Hostinger Website Builder

Learn what to do if you encounter the “403 Forbidden” error on a website created with Hostinger Website Builder

Updated over a year ago

If you use Hostinger Website Builder and get the 403 Forbidden error when trying to access your site online, it means there’s a problem in your domain's DNS zone.

Access your domain’s DNS zone, and do the following:

  1. Delete all the A and/or AAAA records for your root domain (@), if any

  2. Make sure these two CNAME records are present:

CNAME 1

CNAME 2

Name: @
Points to: connect.hostinger.com
TTL: default, or 14400

Name: www
Points to: connect.hostinger.com
TTL: default, or 14400

Finally, save the changes.

Once you add the necessary DNS records, give them some time to propagate worldwide. Your website will start working within a couple of hours 🎉
