Manage your websites and your clients' websites easily at Hostinger using custom tags

Custom tags is a feature available on web and cloud hosting plans at Hostinger, designed to help you organize and streamline your websites more effectively. You can create personalized tags and assign them to your websites, making it easier to categorize, search, and filter your websites, be it by content type, such as blogs, news, e-commerce, etc., or any other way you according to your needs.

How to Use Custom Tags

With the custom tags, you can keep your websites neatly organized and spend less time searching your websites.

Creating a Custom Tag

Create the tags that fit your unique organizational needs, allowing for detailed and specific categorization.

Navigate to the Websites section of hPanel and click on the Filter by tag dropdown next to the search bar. There, click on Manage tags to create a new tag:

Enter a new tag name of 30 characters or less, and click on Save. You can create as many tags as you need.

Assigning a Custom Tag

You can assign up to five tags to any website in your collection. Click on the ellipsis button next to the website (), select Add tag and mark the checkboxes of the tags you want to apply to the website:

Now the website is identified by the assigned tags. To remove a tag from a website, uncheck the box for the tag.

Filtering by Tag

Create a custom view of your websites list by filtering using tags. Click on the Filter by tag dropdown next to the search bar and select the desired tags from the dropdown list:

You can select multiple tags the results will display only the websites that match all of them.

Managing Tags

Edit or delete tags as your organizational needs change. Click on the Filter by tag dropdown next to the search bar and select Manage tags. There, you can change the name of any tag, create new tags, or remove them by clicking on the bin icon:
