If you have a website hosted elsewhere and wish to migrate it to Hostinger, our migration team will be more than happy to do this for you for free! All you need to do is fill out a <a href="https://hpanel.hostinger.com/hosting/migrations" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">migration request</a>. In the event that your website is already at Hostinger, or if our team cannot perform the migration due to technical reasons linked to your website architecture or limitations in your current hosting, you have the option to manually transfer your website. Follow these steps:

Download a backup of your website's files from your current hosting. If necessary, you can seek assistance from your current hosting support

Upload the files to your hosting plan at Hostinger. This can be easily done using the <a href="https://support.hostinger.com/en/articles/1869114-how-to-upload-backup-with-file-manager">File Manager</a> or an <a href="https://support.hostinger.com/ftp-file-manager/how-to-upload-backup-with-ftp">FTP client</a>

1. Download a backup of your website's files from your current hosting. If necessary, you can seek assistance from your current hosting support
2. Upload the files to your hosting plan at Hostinger. This can be easily done using the <a href="https://support.hostinger.com/en/articles/1869114-how-to-upload-backup-with-file-manager">File Manager</a> or an <a href="https://support.hostinger.com/ftp-file-manager/how-to-upload-backup-with-ftp">FTP client</a>

For websites that require a database, complete these additional steps:

Once your website is uploaded, you can <a href="https://support.hostinger.com/en/articles/1863967-how-to-point-domain-to-hostinger">point your domain to Hostinger</a>. After up to 24 hours, when <a href="https://support.hostinger.com/en/articles/4146975-what-is-dns-propagation">propagation</a> is completed, your website will be fully operational on your new hosting 😊
