A records are the most basic DNS records that are used to point a domain or subdomain to an IP Address (your hosting server). However, A Records only point to IPv4 addresses.
In order to check your current IP address, access your cPanel account, and check the right section of the dashboard.

Any DNS record changes trigger propagation which can take up to 24 hours to fully propagate worldwide.
