Universal SSL is essential for your website to work with HTTPS when you don’t have a valid SSL certificate yet. In the majority of cases, it’s recommended to keep Universal SSL enabled. However, sometimes you need to temporarily disable Universal SSL to solve website issues.

If you have Cloudflare activated at Hostinger, you can manage your Universal SSL from hPanel. If you activated Cloudflare directly, you can manage SSL from the Cloudflare Dashboard.

How to manage Universal SSL in hPanel?

In your hPanel, open Hosting → Manage → Cloudflare. There, just find the Universal SSL section, and click Disable:

You can enable it back on the same page.
