Learn how to enable the “I'm under attack” mode with Hostinger Content Delivery Network

Updated over 3 months ago

The "I’m under attack" mode is an advanced security level in Hostinger Content Delivery Network. It enables the browser challenge page for your website visitors, which helps fight DDoS attacks.

To use this mode, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Websites section of hPanel, find your website, and click on Dasbhoard next to it. Then, in the sidebar, search for CDN and click on it.

  2. Check if the CDN is active – if not, enable it – and click on the arrow ❯ button to access more settings:

  3. Go to the Security tab and toggle the button next to I'm under attack to enable it:

As long as the under attack mode is enabled, when anyone attempts to access your website online, they'll get a page with the following message: "Checking your browser before accessing. Just a moment..."

Please note that the "Under Attack" mode temporarily blocks search engine bots, which may result in your site not being indexed during this period. To ensure continued indexing, it is recommended to disable "Under Attack" mode as soon as the threat is resolved.
