To register a domain with an Indonesian ccTLD (country code top-level domain), you'll need to submit certain documents in compliance with national registry regulations. For instructions on how to upload the required documentation, please refer to this guide: How to upload required documents for Indonesian domains.

The document verification process typically takes 1-3 business days and is handled by the registrar appointed by PANDI (the Indonesian Domain Name Registry), who will make the final decision regarding the approval or rejection of your domain registration.

NOTE

  • Documents are required as digital copies (e.g., scanned or photographed) in PDF format to be uploaded via the online form. Image formats such as PNG are not supported.

What are the benefits of an Indonesian domain?

Website visitors tend to prefer local content. An Indonesian domain helps target Indonesian audiences and can improve your website’s SEO performance in local search results.

What is the difference between gTLD and Indonesian domains?

A gTLD (generic top-level domain) is a general-purpose domain, such as .com, .net, .org, or .info, among others. In contrast, Indonesian domains carry an Indonesian identity, represented by the “.id” extension.
