How to Change DNS Records in Other Domain Registrars

Changing the DNS records (NS, TXT, MX, A, etc.) of your domain in different domain registrars/hosting providers

Updated over a year ago

If you purchased a domain with a different domain registrar, you can use it with Hostinger. All you will need to do is insert Hostinger’s DNS records into the DNS Zone of your domain on your current provider’s side.

Click on your provider name below to reach the guide for DNS zone editing:

In case your registrar is not on the table, the steps are very similar for any provider:

  1. Open your domain management area

  2. Find “DNS Zone Editor”, “DNS Management”, “Manage DNS”, or similar

  3. Add the records you would like to have

  4. Save the changes

If you encounter any difficulties, please get in touch with your domain service provider.
