When Smart AI Discovery is enabled, Hostinger prepares your website to work better with AI assistants and chatbots. Website content updates such as published articles or changes in structure are automatically tracked and kept in sync with Hostinger’s AI discovery service. This ensures AI tools are always working with the most up-to-date version of your site.
The entire process is automated and happens in the background. It does not change your site’s content or layout, and there’s nothing you need to manage manually.
Why opt in?
Enabling this feature does not introduce any visible changes to your website today. It simply helps future-proof your online presence as AI becomes a more common way for users to navigate the web.
Smart AI Discovery was designed with privacy in mind. Hostinger follows industry-standard rules such as robots.txt and llms.txt. You remain in full control at all times this feature is entirely optional and can be turned off whenever you choose.
Transparency and data handling
When you opt in, Hostinger securely shares only relevant website update events, such as when content is published or when your site’s structure changes. This data is sent to Hostinger’s AI preparation service to ensure your website is accurately represented for AI discovery.
No visitor activity is tracked, and no personal user data is collected. The feature follows the necessary integration standards for WordPress and Website Builder, including obtaining your consent before any data is transmitted.
