Is FXP Supported at Hostinger?

Transferring files using FXP at Hostinger

Updated over a year ago

FXP (File eXchange Protocol) is a method used for transferring files directly between two remote FTP servers without routing the data through the client's device. In FXP, the transfer occurs server-to-server, allowing for faster file transfers compared to traditional FTP methods where data flows through the client's local computer.

For security reasons, FXP is disabled on our Web and Cloud plans. If you're interested in using it, you can consider our VPS plans, where it is fully supported.

VPS is a self-managed hosting solution. You will be responsible for installing, configuring and updating any FXP scripts and applications 💡
