Email filters are rules that are used to automatically sort, organize, or take actions on incoming email messages based on certain criteria. These criteria can include various attributes of the email, such as the sender's address, the subject line, specific keywords in the body, and more.

Creating Filters

You can create email filters via webmail. Access your Hostinger Email account, go to SettingsFilters, and click on Create:

Or, you may create a filter based on a particular email you received – open the email, and select More Create filter:

If you're creating a filter based on a specific email, specify filter settings such as subject, recipient and/or sender, and click on Next Step:

Create the rules of the filter and click on Save:

  • Filter name – specify the title of the filter

  • Scope – match any or all of the set rules

  • Rules – conditions that trigger the filter

  • Actions – what happens to the messages that meet the filter's rules

This section provides you with the ability to create filters for just about any situation, which greatly simplifies the process of filtering out any unwanted emails and keeps your mailbox clean.

Managing Filters

To manage your filters, go to Settings Filters, click on the filter in question, and you'll be able to edit or delete it:
