Webmin/Virtualmin/LAMP features on Hostinger’s VPS

Updated over a week ago

Webmin/Virtualmin/LAMP is one of the OS templates available for our VPS plans. You can choose it while setting up your VPS for the first time or change it anytime later.

Features

Webmin is a web-based interface for system administration for Unix. By using any modern web browser, you can set up user accounts, Apache, DNS, file sharing, and much more.

Unlike the standalone Webmin panel, this template comes along with Virtualmin and LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP/Perl/Python) stack as well. Virtualmin is a powerful and flexible web hosting control panel for Linux and UNIX systems founded on the well-known Open Source web-based systems management GUI, Webmin. Manage your virtual domains, mailboxes, databases, applications, and the entire server, from one comprehensive and friendly interface.

Pre Installed network services are:

  • Apache

  • MySQL database

  • PHP

Logging In

Once you got your VPS running with the Webmin/Virtualmin/LAMP panel you will be able to log in to your control panel using this link: https://your_vps_ip:10000 (this will require you to accept an untrusted SSL certificate).

The default login details will be as follows:

  • Username: root

  • Password: your root password
