Why Do I Need This?
To use Hostinger Email, you need to add MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records to your domain’s DNS settings:
MX records ensure emails are properly sent to you
SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records build trust and authenticity of the emails you send and improve email deliverability to your recipients

Now, let's proceed with the steps to set your domain up for Hostinger Email 👇
Step 1 — Identifying Your Domain's Management Location
To find out where to make DNS changes, you need to identify which service provider manages your domain's settings.
The most straightforward way to do this is to check your domain nameservers.
Once you know where to manage your domain's DNS zone, proceed to the next step.
Step 2 — Setting Up DNS Records
Depending on your domain’s management location (step 1), configuring the domain’s DNS settings is either an automated or manual task:
If your domain is managed at Hostinger, the process is automated. Follow these steps: Setting Up a Domain for Hostinger Email Automatically
If your domain is NOT managed at Hostinger, the process is manual. It means that you need to add the necessary DNS records to your domain's DNS zone by hand. To do so, follow these steps: Setting Up a Domain for Hostinger Email Manually
Once you add the necessary DNS records, your email service may take up to 24 hours to activate due to DNS propagation. This is normal, so just wait. Once complete, you can use your email hassle-free 💡
If you wish to avoid any manual work and use the automated option, consider the following suggestions:
Point your domain to Hostinger nameservers — it may take up to 24 hours or
Transfer your domain to Hostinger — may take up to 7 days (or more, in some very rare cases)
If you choose any of the options mentioned above, you’ll be able to enable Hostinger Email services for your domain automatically — it requires only a few clicks!
