Horizons availability for users

Hostinger Horizons is officially available to all Hostinger users.

You can start for free using our 7-day free trial to test out the tool! Check our free trial guide for more details.

Horizons subscription details

In order to use Hostinger Horizons, existing users will get 5 free daily messages to use for 7 days.

You will need to have a Horizons subscription plan besides having a hosting plan in order to have a complete experience with building your projects under the tool.

Horizons subscription provides access to chat with AI to edit and create web applications, while the hosting plan allows to you to host and access deployed web apps.

Check our free trial guide for more details.

Subscription usage

If you subscribe to Horizons but don't publish your web app right away, have in mind that the hosting plan that comes alongside Horizons plan starts immediately after the purchase of the hosting and Horizons plan bundle, regardless of publishing the web app.

If you purchase a Horizons plan for 1 month, create an app and then cancel Horizons plan, as long as you have an active hosting plan, the published web app will continue to work.

Notice that hosting plan is tied to a "Free Email" service, which would be included in the hosting subscription.

We support you to have only one Horizons subscription, as you will be able to create Horizons projects and use the message limit on all hosting plans you have. Also, if you already have a hosting plan in your account, you can buy the hosting and Horizons bundle without issues.

The resources of this bundled plan will be enough for the application you want to publish, have in mind you can always upgrade your hosting plan if need more resources.

Renewal prices for Horizons

For now we offer only monthly Horizons plans that renew for the same price as the first charge.

Keep in mind that renewing the plan before the expiration date won't add more credits. The credits are updated only after the new monthly cycle starts. If you need more credits, the best would be to upgrade your plan.

View, edit and download the web application code

Currently, you are able to view, edit or download the code or export any project files of the web app by yourself only by following the steps here.

You can also request Horizons to generate a code for you to add your web app to another website, as a code to <head> and <body>, for example.

Import custom codes

For now, you are unable to import your custom codes from 3rd party platforms like GitHub.

Making specific changes in the web app

You can request Horizons to make specific changes for you using prompts in the chatbox only, as you are unable to edit or review the web application code manually.

Horizons plans expiration and backup

If your Horizons plan expires and it's canceled, the project is deleted.

If you don't have the code exported previously, you would need to start a new web application over again as the previous data would be lost.

If you're not sure you will renew your plan but don't want to lose the project, make sure to export your project and save on your local device.

Publish project and subscription management

If you publish your project using Hostinger Horizons, have in mind that you will need to continue having the hosting plan subscription in order to have your web application live and working.

If you fully accomplished your Horizons project, you would be able to keep only the hosting plan if you are not working on any new web apps on Horizons.

You can check more details about subscription management here in this guide.

Copying a ready website or web app project

Please remember that our AI web app generator is designed to help you create unique and original content. We strongly advise against using it to replicate existing websites or copy trademarked materials, as this can lead to copyright infringement and potential legal issues.

Mobile application development

When it comes to using Hostinger Horizons for mobile app development, at the moment, we do not offer mobile app development for iOS or Android.

Database or other backend services connection

When it comes to the connection with database, Horizons does offer integration for Auth and Database with 3rd-party tools, it requires some efforts that would need to be done outside the Horizons tool, however the assistant lists out the steps that needs to be taken from your side to achieve it.

For an easier integration, we recommend using Supabase for backend. You can check more about how to do it here in this guide.

Note that you should be able to integrate any Backend services to Horizons as long as you provide the integration information in the message and to be sure if the backend service has an API.

Technology used in Horizons

Horizons builds web apps in Node.js, and the final distributions files in its environment are React and Vite.

Monetizing my web application

For now, you can already add subscriptions, one-time payments, ads, affiliate links and more. Some of those functions might not be as easy to add as others, but our product team is putting their best efforts in getting this easier over time.

For now, you can request the AI assistant to help you with the integration and follow the steps provided. Check our guide on how to use integrations for more tips.
