The httpd.conf file is the main configuration file for the Apache HTTP Server. It controls how Apache processes requests and delivers web pages to users.
At Hostinger, our Web and Cloud hosting plans use LiteSpeed, a fast and efficient web server alternative to Apache. Since LiteSpeed does not need the httpd.conf file, it is not possible to access or edit it. As an alternative, most changes to your website's settings can be done using the .htaccess file.
If you require access to the httpd.conf file, you may want to consider VPS hosting. A virtual private server gives you more control over your hosting environment, for example, allowing you to choose which web server to run, as well as access and edit the httpd.conf file in the case of Apache.
