Updated over a year ago

OpenVPN Access Server is a full-featured secure network tunneling VPN software solution that integrates OpenVPN server capabilities, enterprise management capabilities, simplified OpenVPN Connect UI, and OpenVPN Client software packages that accommodate Windows, MAC, and Linux OS environments.

At Hostinger, we offer the Ubuntu 22.04 VPS template with OpenVPN pre-installed. To start using OpenVPN, install the template and follow the steps below 👇

Step 1 — Access the Administration Panel

1. Once you get your VPS running with OpenVPN, you can access the administration panel using the following details:

In the login URL, make sure to replace your_vps_ip with the actual IP address of your server 💡

When you first access the page, your browser might display a security warning because it is a self-signed certificate. Go ahead and accept the warning to proceed.

Step 2 — Complete the Configuration Wizard

Once you log in, follow the prompts provided by the Configuration Wizard to complete the setup of your VPN server. You'll need to establish settings like your routing mode, VPN settings, and more.

Step 3 — Create User Accounts

In the User Management section of the admin console, click on User Permissions. Here, you can add users and manage their access rights.
