A Virtual Private Network (VPN) is a secure and encrypted connection over the internet between your device and a server. This connection routes your internet traffic through an encrypted tunnel, ensuring that your online activities, data transmissions, and communications are protected from external agents, including your internet service provider (ISP).
Due to technical and resource requirements, VPN is supported only on our VPS hosting - we have a pre-made template for you: Ubuntu 22.04 VPS template with OpenVPN. It will automatically install the Ubuntu operating system, along with OpenVPN.
As VPS is a self-managed hosting solution, you'll have complete control over your server. This means you'll be responsible for setting up and configuring your project. While it may require some expertise, the flexibility and control that VPS offers make it an ideal platform to set up a VPN server 🚀
