What to do in case of error messages while making a payment and purchase cannot be completed

At Hostinger, we take all measures to safeguard your payment transactions. If you encounter an error while making a payment, you can refer to the following list to know more about it as well as the solutions:

Insufficient funds, please check the balance

There are not enough funds on your payment method to complete the payment.

Double-check if you have enough funds for this transaction or use another payment method.

The payment window was closed, please try again

The payment pop-up window has been closed.

Try to make the payment again.

If the window does not load, make sure to use a different browser and internet connection. You might need to wait for an hour before the next attempt.

PayPal payment method was not added, please try again

The PayPal account does not have a linked card.

Please ensure that you have a card linked to your PayPal account.

If the issue persists, please get in touch with the PayPal customer success team.

The desired installment is not available for that transaction

There was an issue setting up the installments for your transaction.

This error message might appear if you are using a debit or prepaid card, or if your bank does not support installments at all.

If you are not using a debit or prepaid card, please get in touch with your bank.

The payment authorization has failed, please try again

The payment authorization failed due to one of the different possible reasons.

Address the specific reason before trying again.

The transaction was declined, please contact your bank

The payment has been rejected due to security concerns.

This can be due to different reasons.

Additional Payment-Related Issues

Email Velocity - Declined

If you see this error, it usually means that you made too many unsuccessful attempts in a short period of time, and the bank temporarily blocked all the transactions. Kindly wait for 24 hours, or try with another card or payment method.

The Invoice Is Still Unpaid After the Payment

If the amount was deducted from your original payment method, but the invoice status in the control panel is still unpaid, most likely, the payment is still processing and needs more time to reach us.

Double Charge

If you were charged twice for the same purchase, please get in touch with our Customer Success team, and we will verify the situation for you.
