If you wish to transfer your domain to another company from Hostinger, the new registrar may ask for an authorization code (EPP code) to verify that you actually own the domain name registration.

Some TLDs have a special transfer process:

For all other domains to get an EPP code or Auth code, all you need to do is access your Domains tab:

And choose the domain order you wish to get EPP for. The code will be displayed as Secret key:

If the Secret key is not displayed, it usually means that your domain’s registry doesn’t allow EPP code to be displayed in the control panel directly. No worries, all you need to do is to contact Customer Success team - we will gladly provide you with the code 😊

NOTES: Before the domain can be transferred, the following requirements should be met:

  • It’s been more than 60 days since the domain was purchased or transferred previously;
  • The domain is unlocked at the current domain registration company;
  • Privacy protection is disabled.
  • You have a valid EPP/Auth code from your current registrar.

The company you are transferring the domain to might have additional requirements, so it’s always good to contact them beforehand 😊
