There are several options to change the billing cycle for your Hostinger services. You may change the billing cycle upon renewal or without renewing the service.
Change the Billing Cycle Upon Renewal
This option allows you to renew your Hostinger service for whichever period you choose, regardless if auto-renewal is enabled for that service.
If a renewal invoice has already been issued for this service, please cover this payment beforehand to enable the option to change the billing cycle.
To do so, open the Billing section in your Members Area and click on Renew now:
Then, select the preferred billing cycle and proceed with the payment.
Change the Billing Cycle Without Renewing the Service
Before making this change, ensure the following requirements are met:
Auto-renewal is enabled for the service
The service status is active
The service is not a one-time payment purchase
There are no pending renewal invoices for the service
If a renewal invoice has already been issued for this service, please cover this payment beforehand to enable the option to change the billing cycle.
Now, follow these steps:
Navigate to the Billing section of your Members Area
Click on the arrow next to the service (❯):
Next, click Change on the Billing period:
In the pop-up window, select the new period from the drop-down list and click on Save:
For hosting and email hosting, the available options are one month, 12 months, 24 months, and 48 months. When it comes to domains, the shortest renewal period available is one year.
For most services, choosing a longer period will improve the per-month price 💡
That's all! Your next billing cycle will be the one you just selected - it will take effect starting from the service renewal date onward. If you choose manual renewal before that date, you will only have the option to renew for the same duration as the current period.
For this reason, we recommend awaiting the automatic renewal, and the new billing period will be applied 😊
