You can easily restore your website backup on a different cPanel hosting plan by following the steps below:

Access the account on which your website is currently stored, and <a href="https://support.hostinger.com/en/articles/4723268-how-to-download-backups-on-cpanel">download the file and database backups</a> to your local device - databases are required for the most popular CMS, such as WordPress, OpenCart, or Joomla.

Once you have completed the steps above in the original account, access the target Hostinger account and proceed with the following:

<a href="https://support.hostinger.com/en/articles/4598546-how-to-set-up-my-orders-at-hostinger">Set up your new hosting plan</a> if not active yet

<a href="https://support.hostinger.com/en/articles/4548561-how-to-add-a-website-in-cpanel">Add the domain</a> to your hosting if you didn't add it while setting up your new hosting plan

Upload the backup file with <a href="https://support.hostinger.com/en/articles/4548506-how-to-upload-backup-with-file-manager-in-cpanel">File Manager</a> or <a href="https://support.hostinger.com/en/articles/1869164-how-to-upload-backup-with-ftp">FileZilla</a>

1. <a href="https://support.hostinger.com/en/articles/4598546-how-to-set-up-my-orders-at-hostinger">Set up your new hosting plan</a> if not active yet
2. <a href="https://support.hostinger.com/en/articles/4548561-how-to-add-a-website-in-cpanel">Add the domain</a> to your hosting if you didn't add it while setting up your new hosting plan
3. Upload the backup file with <a href="https://support.hostinger.com/en/articles/4548506-how-to-upload-backup-with-file-manager-in-cpanel">File Manager</a> or <a href="https://support.hostinger.com/en/articles/1869164-how-to-upload-backup-with-ftp">FileZilla</a>

If your website has a database, you will also need to do the following:

Update the database details in your website's <a href="https://support.hostinger.com/en/articles/3313359-where-to-find-configuration-file-of-my-website">configuration file</a>

2. <a href="https://support.hostinger.com/en/articles/4548519-how-to-import-a-database-with-phpmyadmin-on-cpanel">Import the database backup</a>
3. Update the database details in your website's <a href="https://support.hostinger.com/en/articles/3313359-where-to-find-configuration-file-of-my-website">configuration file</a>

To check the latest version of your website after this procedure, it is recommended to <a href="https://support.hostinger.com/en/articles/1583501-how-to-clear-cache">clear the cache</a>

After the restoration, your website will be brought back to the state it was at the moment of backup creation. All the changes that were done after the backup date will be reverted
